Makeups just got easier!! You are now able to book a replacement class online at your own convenience!

 

What Are Makeup Tokens?

Make-up tokens are virtual vouchers added to your account that you may use to schedule an additional group lesson. These do not apply to private lessons. Please see Private Lesson page for more information on these.

 

How Does it Work?

If you are going to be absent from a group class, please report this absence through our client portal so that you may receive a makeup token.  This allows someone to use your spot as a makeup.  Absences that are not reported ahead of time may not generate a token.  You may use this token to schedule a make-up lesson in a class with availability via the parent portal.  You may redeem your token at any time as long as you are currently enrolled in our program as you are only covered by insurance when you are enrolled. These tokens expire 6 months from the date of the absence. All make-ups must be booked online by you and a confirmation email will be sent. Please note that makeups are given to you as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. 

 

How Are Makeup Tokens Used?

Tokens can be redeemed when a makeup lesson is scheduled through the Client Portal.  After logging in, please click on the “Makeups” link to see your available tokens and schedule your replacement lesson

 

Do Makeup Tokens Expire?

Makeup tokens will be set to expire 6 months from the date of the absence.   

You may redeem your token at any time as long as you are currently enrolled in our program as you are only covered by insurance when you are enrolled. 
 

Consistent Attendance:

Attendance is an important factor in each swimmer's progression in the program.  Consistent attendance allows for swimmers to move forward each week together as a team. Absences in excess of 2 per month can set the swimmer back in their advancement in the program. No more than 2 tokens per month will be issued per swimmer.

Makeup Terms and Conditions:

• Makeups spots are based on availability and are not guaranteed

• Makeups can be requested up to 4 days prior to the desired make-up date

• Please be sure to choose a make-up class that matches the swimmer’s current level

• If you miss your scheduled makeup lesson, you will be forfeiting this lesson

• Refunds will not be given for classes that you have missed while we are in session

• Makeup tokens expire 6 months from the date of the absence and must be used while currently enrolled in a class

• Makeup enrollments may be bumped for a swimmer who is interested in the spot on a weekly basis

 

Private Lesson Cancellations:

If you need to miss your private lesson, please call and follow up with an email to let us know you will be absent. Our instructors are still paid in your absence.  If greater than 24 hours notice is given, a small cancellation feel may be charged to help cover our instructor's time.  If less than 24 hours is given, the entire tuition may be charged. Missed AquaTherapy classes will receive a cancellation fee which cannot be billed to insurance and is therefore an out-of-pocket expense.
